Sensor not Triggering may be Low Temperature Cutoff

Snow Melt Sensor Not Triggering? LTC (Low Temperature Cutoff) Could Be the Reason.

If your sensor hasn’t triggered, check the configuration switch. LTC (Low Temperature Cutoff) turned on prevents triggering the snow removal/deicing system below 15 degrees F.

In the on position, the assumption is that snow at very low temperatures tends to be very dry and should not be a problem.

Of course, this is not always the case. If LTC is on, switch it to off.
